Arriving at home

bengals, cats, cute, kittens, tiger

I am 21 months old now but I went home with Papa when I was almost 10 weeks old.  Papa is my Human.  I have a Grandmaw, Aunt and Uncle, and 2 cousins.  My cousins, Tango and Hobbes live in Oregon which will be my subject on a later blog about my travels.  Tango and Hobbes were “rescued” by my Aunt but its really the other way around.  When you get an animal that was in a pound its the Human who is being rescued from a life without the joy and gift of having a animal to serve.

I noticed some slight differences between Tigress’ and Humans.  One main example that I had to get used to was that….well I’ll just come out and say it… Cats go to the bathroom in a nice clean sand/litter box.  Humans go to the bathroom in a thing called a toilet filled with water!  I know what your thinking… I couldn’t believe it either but I have learned to live with it.

I had a great welcome home sign when I arrived.  It was filled with very cute sayings.

“Cats are like music….it is foolish to try and explain their worth to those who do not appreciate them”

“There is no more intrepid explorer than a kitten”

“A meow massages the heart”

“Thousands of years ago cats were worshiped as gods, they have not forgotten this”

“To err is human, to Purr is feline”

“There is no snooze button on a cat that wants breakfast”

“No outfit is complete without cat hair”

104Sorry, A noise outside!  I must go for now!  Follow me so you will know when I post!  Meow    Bye Tigress Stravyn
